Sustainability Month 2018

These designs were part of the campaign for the Sustaining Pacific’s Sustainability Month which is an annual month long series of events about how to live in an environmentally sustainable way.

The theme was “Intertwined: Working towards lasting solutions” which focused on how the social, political, and economical connections make up and effect Sustainability in our society.

In creating the campaign for the month, I used a hexagon pattern as a way of illustrating this idea of connections because of it’s association with honeycomb patterns found in beehives. I also used a high contrast color scheme with navy blue and aquamarine as a twist on the traditional blue and green color scheme to represent sustainability and environmental subjects.
